His career included periods with NEC Semiconductors, Kymata, Alcatel Optronics and then several positions with Aggreko, culminating in the role of Head of Manufacturing responsible for all the manufacturing and operational aspects of their global Manufacturing & Technology facilities in Scotland.
 

During this time, he has demonstrated that he is a commercially aware manufacturing/operations Leader with a proven record for developing and implementing all aspects of Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Planning, Facilities, HSE, and Continuous Improvement Management.
 

In addition, he also has significant mechanical and electrical engineering experience (process/equipment/facilities), having worked on, designed, developed and introduced multiple engineering products in the Power, Semi-Conductor, and Opto-Electronic manufacturing industries.
 

Jim holds a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland and has also studied at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
